Sector Chemical, Oil & gas

New environmental goals make factories and procedures more complicated

ABMI: a wealth of experience in designing facilities from defined procedures

Today, the sector is renewing itself while continuing to fulfil its existing production roles, both being “safer” and also further reducing its energy needs.

The chemical / oil & gas sectors cover legislatively demanding areas, in particular for the safety of goods and people.

Today, water and smoke treatment is being improved to address the treatment of ever more specialized products to avoid environmental release, in particular reducing endocrine disruptors in water. These new goals further complicate factories and reprocessing procedures, but will ensure that waste is more and more managed and neutralized.

Minimizing energy consumption has universally become a fundamental guideline for designing new facilities, or improving existing ones.

Specializing in facility design from predefined procedures

At ABMI, we are highly skilled in all areas relating to procedures themselves: civil engineering, pipes, static mechanical equipment, rotating machines, electrical engineering, instrumentation, control-command, ventilation/HVAC, and general installation

At ABMI, we do not specialize in procedures. However, our know-how focuses on designing facilities around defined procedures. Tasks are organized around managing a “digital copy” of the factory, which is not only “as constructed”, but more importantly “as operated”, a tool used during routine maintenance or heavy maintenance work.

Thus, we are highly skilled in all areas relating to procedures themselves: civil engineering, pipes, static mechanical equipment, rotating machines, electrical engineering, instrumentation, control-command, ventilation/HVAC, and general installation.

Our Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality teams can also create immersive environments suitable for training operators or maintenance technicians, in particular in safety.

In particular, our R&D teams have developed equipment with the CEA that can recover the waste heat (energy typically lost) from a procedure.

ABMI is Mase certified to carry out work on the ground.

Whatever your project and its current phase, the goal will always be to have a facility that is well-designed, easy to maintain, and running satisfactorily!
